The Recreational Program is for students age 7-teen who want to try dance, but are not ready for a year-long commitment. This program offers short sessions, and students can take whatever they desire: ballet, tap, hip hop or intro to dance. There is no performance associated with this program.
We have three 11-week sessions, fall, winter and spring. Fall session runs from September 5-December 1 (No Class MEA weekend, Halloween, or Thanksgiving weekend); Winter session runs from December 12-March 9 (No class December 24-January 6. There IS class MLK weekend); Spring Session runs from March 16-June 8 (No class April 3, 6, or Memorial Day weekend). All instruction is provided by our staff of professional instructors. Dancers in this program will have an informal showing on the last day of each session.
