At Ballare Teatro Performing
Arts Center we have 5 programs:
Preschool, Performing Arts, Recreational,
Adult/Professional and Summer. To register
for classes, follow the links below or use the
menu on the right.

Our Preschool Program is a year-long program. We
have two classes: Music and Movement and
Creative Dance. Music and Movement is for our
littlest dancers and their parents.  Once a child
turns 3, they can register for our Creative Dance
class. We continue to take registration in both
of these classes all year, as long as there are openings.

During the school year, we offer two ways for youth to
study dance: the Performing Arts Program and the
Recreational Program.

The Performing Arts Program is a year-long program for
students who are ready for more of a commitment to
dance education. All students involved in this program
must be registered in a ballet/tap class during the course of the year.    Students in the Fundamental Level (5-6 year olds), Level I (7-9 year olds), and Level II (10-12 year olds) may also elect to take another genre of dance, either jazz, modern or hip hop. Dancers in level III and up must take one other genre of dance in addition to their ballet/tap class. All students in the performing arts program are involved in our year end recital, and have the option of performing in our original ballet, ‘Isabella Saves the World’ or our Jazz Festival. Because students involved in this program commit to an entire year, new students are taken in these classes from September-October. After that, students will be allowed to register by permission of Ballare Teatro Director and staff.

The Recreational Program is for students age 7-teen who want to try dance, but are not ready for a year-long commitment. This program offers short sessions, and students can take whatever they desire: ballet, tap, jazz, modern or hip hop.  There is no performance associated with this program.

Homeschool students may participate in a recreational program that runs in 11-week sessions, fall, winter and spring. Fall session runs from September 8-November 22; Winter session runs from November 30-February 28; Spring session runs from March 3-May 23. These sessions take into account Thanksgiving, Winter and Spring breaks. All teaching is provided by our talented staff of degreed, professional instructors. Dancers in this program will have an informal showing at the end of each session.

Our adult program offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, modern and hip hop for the beginner-professional dancer. You may register at any time of the year for our classes. You may drop in, or purchase a class card. Please call ahead prior to dropping into a class to check on the schedule and openings.

Summer is time for dancers to try something new. There are no prerequisites. Our short 6-7 week summer session includes week long camps and workshops, as well as weekly evening classes.  There is something to fit into your busy summer schedule at Ballare Teatro Performing Arts Center.
